“Everything starts with your tag (signature). Add some hand-style and flow, outline it and you’ll make real pieces! But, you need to have your own letter foundation together before you can call yourself a real writer! Sometimes a well-placed executed tag can be better than a piece!!!”

“The thing that’s cool about tags and throw-ups is that they’re the heart and guts of all graffiti style and innovation. Tags are the beating heart of graffiti!”

“It was a long time since I was active in tagging and over time grew away from from writing my tag in squiggly hip-hop hand style with its stars and arrows. With this said, it doesn’t mean I’ve lost the love for the foundation of graffiti. I made the base of the canvases a dream scenario—classic (Stockholm) yellow tiles—and bombed the shit out of them.”

“In graffiti, everything started with the tags. It’s the name you choose and will be to recognized for. This project was a fun challenge to me, because tagging isn’t my strong suit. It’s an art to tag beautifully.”

“It was fun to get asked to take part in this project. I haven’t used tags that much in my other art so it was an interesting and fun challenge.”
